Stickpin Media

Stickpin Media was founded in 2004 by Christian Chensvold and consists of various web projects in the culture and style space which have attracted dozens of contributors and international press coverage. 

FineArtsLA.com and MasculineInteriors.com were successfully sold. GolfStyle.guru and Idle-Talk.net brought much amusement but were eventually discontinued, as was Traditional Man: Survival Guide for an Age of Crisis (trad-man.com). 

Founded in 2008, Ivy-Style.com became the leading website for classic menswear in the trad, preppy and Ivy League mold, in addition to covering vintage Americana, collegiate life, jazz, and their present iterations. As of 2021 it features some 2,400 blog posts and 55,000 reader comments. Chensvold ran the site until 2021 before turning over the reins.  

Operated chiefly from 2004-08, Dandyism.net was called “the most self-important review in the history of media” by one devoted reader. A new captain took the helm in 2025. 

Stickpin Media has also published the books “The Philosophy of Style,” with a foreword by Alan Flusser, and “Dark Stars: Heroic Spirituality in the Age of Decadence,” both available at Amazon.
